В качестве семитолога выражаю свое недоумение названием раздела. Рассматриваемый язык именуется по-русски древнееврейским. У нас в Израиле оба называются ивритом, это верно, но это не значит, что русские должны ломать вековую традицию в угоду раннесионистскому дискурсу. Кроме того, создается впечатление, что это один и тот же язык на разных этапах развития, а это не так. Современный иврит - искусственная конструкция по мотивам древнееврейского, языка Мишны, арамейского языка Талмуда, грамматики европейских языков и фонетики языка идиш.В английском Hebrew исторически обозначал именно древнееврейский, поэтому стандартное английское название современного израильского иврита - Modern Hebrew. Поступать наоборот и называть древний язык по имени его зачатого в пробирке потомка очень странно. Это примерно то же самое, что назвать латынь древним итальянским.Да и гляньте на книги, представленные на этой странице. "Древний иврит" фигурирует только в названии раздела, зато целая куча книг используют термин "древнееврейский".Я не предлагаю ничего срочно менять, но если будут другие голоса в пользу этого, хорошо бы взвесить возвращение к "древнееврейскому".
