As before, the proceedings cover problems associated with physical processes which take place during the operation of contacts, with the construction of contacts and contact elements, with the characteristics of contact materials and with their production. A series of reports contained in the present volume is devoted to the problems of contact reliability as well as the reliability of devices using contacts. The work is intended for scientists, engineers, and technicians who develop, investigate, design and operate equipment containing contact elements.
